Wedding planning involves balancing vision, guest count, and budget; the venue sets the foundation for all three. Brittland Estates offers three distinct wedding venue options, each with different amenities, capacities, and price points. This range allows couples to choose a setting that fits their needs while maintaining flexibility in how their wedding day comes together.
Brittland Estates wedding venues include Brittland Manor, Stepne Manor, and The Bank.
Brittland Manor

Nestled along the Chester River, Brittland Manor is a historic hilltop mansion with over 530 acres of secluded countryside. Between the Manor and River Lodge, also located on the property, there are 15 bedrooms, including a bridal suite, to accommodate the wedding party and guests.
One of the benefits of a Brittland Manor wedding is the ability to choose from a variety of different locations for the wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. A brick patio is available for tented receptions.

Brittland Manor has capacity for up to 400 guests for outdoor events and 50 guests for intimate indoor weddings.
The price to host a 2026 wedding at Brittland Manor depends on the size of the wedding and the time of year.
May-August, November 1-14: $18,800
September-October: $22,400
November 15-December 30: $6,250
Micro wedding (50 people or less): $6,250
Wedding pricing includes a two-night stay in the Manor and Lodge, while micro and winter weddings include a one-night stay in the Manor house only. Ample parking is available to accommodate all guests.
Stepne Manor

Dating back to 1690, Stepne Manor is a restored Colonial Revival home in Chestertown, Maryland. Surrounded by serene fields, yet close to historic downtown, Stepne Manor offers exclusive use of the property with multiple options for wedding festivities.

Stepne Manor can accommodate up to 275 wedding guests and sleeps up to 15 people in its five bedrooms. The $3,650 fee includes a three-day, two-night stay.
The Bank

Originally built in 1849 as The Chestertown Bank, The Bank is a restored event space with tall arched windows, original tile flooring perfect for dancing, and a walk-in safe filled with empty safe deposit boxes for unique character. The safe is a fun place to display a cake!
The Bank has a maximum capacity of 64 guests for dancing, 80 guests for a seated dinner, and 120 guests for a cocktail party.

The full-day rental includes the use of tables and chairs, with ivory linens available for an additional $150. The cost for a wedding with less than 50 people is $995, and a wedding with 50 or more people is $1,050.
